Amazing 1907 Quarter Eagle, MS67
1907 $2 1/2 MS67 PCGS. This final Liberty quarter eagle's mintage of over a third of a million pieces was the largest since 1861, and Premium Gems and even Superb Gems are available to type collectors. This is a wonderful example of the latter, apricot-gold and orange with considerable patina over parts of the obverse fields. PCGS has graded only one finer survivor (4/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25LY, PCGS# 7859, GSID# 8332)
