    1880 $2 1/2 MS61 NGC. Uncirculated examples of the 1880 quarter eagle, an issue which boasts a small mintage of 2,960 pieces, are scarce in any grade. This collectible MS61 coin displays a balance of cartwheel luster and semiprooflike mirroring, along with sharp motifs. A single mark on Liberty's cheek is worthy of mention. Census: 25 in 61, 28 finer (8/16).
