Full Blazing Red MS67 1909 Lincoln Cent
With Unusual Obverse/Reverse Color Scheme
1909 1C MS67 Red PCGS. The 1909 and its VDB counterpart are
known as "common" first year of issue Lincoln cents. But that just
holds up to a certain point. They certainly are not common in
Superb condition. The color on this coin is extraordinary; in fact,
we don't remember seeing another like it. The obverse is deep
cherry-red; while the reverse has the bright yellowish-red that is
usually seen on 1909 cents. The surfaces are almost perfect; to
draw attention to any defect would unfairly magnify its importance.
