1909 1C MS67 Red PCGS. A fantastic example of this first-year issue, elusive as a Red Superb Gem but often overshadowed by its VDB counterpart. Swirling luster dominates subtly textured surfaces that showcase intense orange colors with suggestions of rose. Boldly impressed and delightful in all respects. Neither NGC nor PCGS has graded an MS68 Red example (4/10).(Registry values: N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B3, PCGS# 2431, GSID# 1723)
