1909 1C MS67 Red PCGS. The second design type for Lincoln
cents was this issue, with Victor D. Brenner's initials removed
from the reverse. This example is tied for the finest certified
with numerous others by PCGS and exhibits frosty deep orange
luster. The surfaces are virtually perfect. Population: 58 in 67
Red, 0 finer (4/10).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/04), lot 5393, which realized $2,875; Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/07), lot 2325, which brought $3,335; Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 5/07), lot 231, which garnered $3,565.
