Doubled Die Obverse 1909 VDB Cent
FS-1101, MS65 Red
1909 1C VDB DDO MS65 Red PCGS. FS-1101. A considerable
left-to-right spread is visible on the letters of LIBERTY and the
date. Strongly struck with bold luster, largely in copper-gold and
wheat. Minimally marked but with a few small carbon spots along the
left obverse and reverse rims. Still, an appealing example of this
popular variety.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22AZ, PCGS# 82425, GSID# 285481)
