Description

1909 VDB Cent, MS67+ Red
Colorful Registry-Grade Rarity, CAC Endorsed

1909 1C VDB MS67+ Red PCGS. CAC. Razor-sharp definition is apparent on all design elements, including the all-important initials. The apricot-gold and lime-green surfaces are brightly lustrous and nearly unmarked. Nor is carbon seen in any serious manner, with just a handful of random, microscopic specks that appear under scrutiny of a strong loupe. This is one of the finest 1909-VDB cents available to advanced collectors. PCGS has certified only two numerically finer Red coins, and we doubt that either the technical quality or eye appeal could be significantly better than this superlative coin. Population: 43 in 67+, Red, 2 finer. CAC: 61 in 67, 0 finer (1/19).(Registry values: N208)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22AZ, PCGS# 2425, Greysheet# 1792)
