Only One Coin Finer at PCGS
1909 1C VDB MS67+ Red PCGS. A plentiful issue but seldom
seen this fine. The present coin is among 14 Plus-graded MS67 Red
coins at PCGS, where only a single finer example is reported
(8/16). The strike is sharp, and the frosty surfaces display
luminous mint-fresh luster. Coppery-red peripheries cede to bright
yellow-gold interiors.(Registry values: N208)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22AZ, PCGS# 2425, Greysheet# 1792)
