Description

1909-S Lincoln Cent, MS66+ Red

1909-S 1C MS66+ Red PCGS. CAC. The surfaces of this first-year key S-mint display copious mattelike, fine-grained luster, and judging only by the obverse we would call this piece a full MS67 Red. The reverse texture falls just a tad shy of the Superb Gem level, however, while still retaining a great deal of eye appeal. The letters E P that begin the motto are a bit weakly struck, as often seen. Population: 28 in 66+ Red, 11 finer. CAC: 44 in 66, 3 finer (8/20).(Registry values: N991)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B4, PCGS# 2434, Greysheet# 1798)
