1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent, MS64
Red and Brown, CAC

1909-S 1C VDB MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Victor D. Brenner redesigned the cent in 1909 to commemorate the centennial of Lincoln's birth, though his initials would be removed from the design before their restoration nine years later. This example displays welcoming topaz-brown luster with well-struck devices that exemplify its eye appeal. Close examination reveals just a few insignificant abrasions, though none are readily detectable to the unaided eye. Listed among the 100 Greatest U.S. Coins.(Registry values: N1793)
