1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red and Brown PCGS....
Description
1909-S VDB Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
Key First-Year Lincoln
1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. This is a
predominantly lustrous example with a frosty texture and
golden-orange color that is muted by olive-tan shadings at a few
angles. Crisply struck, as befits a first-year Lincoln cent, with
only a faint graze on the President's cheekbone that defines the
grade. A wonderful example from this popular issue that features
the designer's initials on the bottom reverse.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2002), lot 5163.(Registry values: N1793)
