Famous and Popular First-Year Issue

1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red NGC. This vibrant, fiery example is
one of the 484,000 pieces struck of this immensely popular San
Francisco issue. Well-struck with sharp details throughout, the
lustrous surfaces display rich copper-red mint luster accented with
amber and lavender undertones. Magnification reveals a few small
nicks over Lincoln's jaw line along with a few fly specks, all of
which are concealed somewhat by the exceptional colors present on
this Gem. NGC has graded just 45 numerically finer Red
