Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth include it in their 100 Greatest U.S. Coins, and it is the key date the Lincoln cent series -- one of the most popular series in all of American coinage. This Gem Red example displays rich copper-orange color and a bold strike. Eye appeal is strong, and only a few flecks are discernible with a loupe.(Registry values: N1793)
