Glowing 1909-S VDB Cent, Select Red
1909-S VDB 1C MS63 Red NGC. Glowing luster radiates from the copper-orange surfaces of this Select '09-S VDB example. A well executed strike brings out sharp definition on the design features, including full separation in all of the grains and lines of both wheat stalks, and boldness on the V.D.B. elements. A few inoffensive, light toning spots are scattered about the obverse, but both sides are devoid of significant contact marks or annoying dark carbon spots.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B2, PCGS# 2428, GSID# 1801)
