Description
Full Red MS63 1909-S VDB Cent
1909-S VDB 1C MS63 Red PCGS. Key dates within popular types remain in constant demand. To find a 1909-S VDB that is still relatively affordable yet with full red color is difficult indeed. 2009 is about 16 months away. The Lincoln cent will celebrate its 100th anniversary while Congress considers abolishing the cent forever. Perhaps the Lincoln cent will go out with a bang but the collector should purchase this key date now while it remains relatively affordable. The surfaces on this piece show a lovely yellow-gold color with booming luster and a crisp strike. Tiny flecks in the right obverse field limit the grade, but are only moderately distracting.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B2, PCGS# 2428, GSID# 1801)
