1909-S VDB Cent, MS64 Brown
1909-S VDB 1C MS64 Brown NGC. This key-date cent, in an older NGC holder, is interestingly tagged thereon as a "1909 VDB S 1C," but it is a no-questions 1909-S VDB, with sharp designer's initials showing all three periods. The obverse shows mottled woodgrain toning in shades of blue and pinkish-orange, while the reverse is a more lustrous and consistent pinkish-blue.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B2, PCGS# 2426, GSID# 1799)
