Description
Appealing 1909-S VDB Cent, MS64 Red and Brown
1909-S VDB 1C MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. This is a nice collectible grade and color for many collectors between much-costlier Red Gems and the Brown Lincoln keys and semikeys, which seem underrated but offer fertile collecting opportunities of their own. Much red remains on the present piece, but deeper pinks and oranges also complement. The reverse color offers some true brown along with the considerable red, and appealing luster prevails over all. A sharply struck and appealing example.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B2, PCGS# 2427, GSID# 1800)
