Description

1911-D Lincoln Cent, MS64 Brown
Sharply Detailed and Well Preserved

1911-D 1C MS64 Brown PCGS. The Denver Mint struck more than 12.6 million Lincoln cents in 1911, but the issue becomes somewhat scarce at the MS64 grade level, with the Brown designation, and finer coins are even more elusive. This attractive Choice example exhibits sharply detailed design elements throughout. The lustrous original red surfaces have mellowed to light brown in many places, but only the most minor signs of contact are evident. PCGS has certified 32 numerically finer Brown examples (1/24).(Registry values: N991)
