Description

Gorgeous 1912 Lincoln, MS67 Red

1912 1C MS67 Red PCGS. An impeccable sunset-orange representative that is boldly defined and has miraculously escaped virtually all signs of contact and carbon. We have never seen a nicer 1912 Lincoln and both NGC and PCGS concur. Dave Bowers reports in A Guide Book of Lincoln Cents: "Mint State pieces are scarce, and gems with full original color and without carbon spots or flecks are extremely rare." At one time, this date was considered the biggest sleeper of any Lincoln cent in Gem quality. Population: 7 in 67, 0 finer (9/08).
