Description

Splendid Gem Red 1912-D Lincoln Cent

1912-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. Although not so difficult as some of the later S-mint entries in the Lincoln cent series, the 1912-D is considerably more elusive in Gem Red condition than, for example, the 1910-S or 1911-D in equal grade. This example boasts splendid luster radiating from brick-red surfaces, characteristic of the issue. PCGS has certified only eight Red pieces finer (8/08).(Registry values: N1793)
