Lively MS66 Red 1912-D Cent

1912-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. David Lange, in his The Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents, offers considerable praise for this issue: "1912-D is a semi-key date coin. It is moderately scarce in all grades, and even worn specimens will find a buyer when problem-free. ... Low-end Mint State coins are usually available, while choice and gem examples having original, fully red or even red/brown color are scarce and always in demand." With its bright tangerine luster and uncommonly bold detail, this Red Premium Gem has winning eye appeal in every respect. PCGS has graded nine coins as MS66 Red with no Red coins finer (8/09), but the discerning Lincoln cent collector will realize that not all of those coins are equal.(Registry values: N2998)
