Description

Full Red 1912-S Cent, MS65
Scarce With Original Red Surfaces

1912-S 1C MS65 Red NGC. The 1912-S is a semikey early Lincoln with an impressively low mintage when compared to its P- and D-mint counterparts; only 4.4 million examples were produced. Few are known today in the higher Uncirculated grades, and even fewer have original, full red surfaces. This is a bright, original coin that displays mattelike fields on the reverse. As one would expect from the grade, there are no large or mentionable abrasions. Census: 22 in 65 Red, 1 finer (6/10).
