Description

1914-D Lincoln Cent, MS62 Brown
Denver Key Issue, CAC

1914-D 1C MS62 Brown PCGS. CAC. The Denver branch mint averaged about 13 million pieces per year over its first three issues of Lincoln cents. However, Denver struck only 1.19 million pieces in 1914, and with most entering circulation, the 1914-D survives as a key date in the series. This MS62 Brown displays satiny chocolate-brown patina accented with hints of mint-copper along the rim and borders. Light softness shows on the beard and the upper reverse. A loupe reveals only a few tiny carbon spots and grade-consistent marks.(Registry values: N1793)
