Description

1914-D Lincoln Cent, MS63 Red and Brown
Collector-Grade Piece, CAC

1914-D 1C MS63 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. This is a boldly struck example from this key Denver issue of just under 1.2 million pieces. Chestnut-brown patina invokes hues of amber and lavender layered in satiny luster for delightful eye appeal. The 1914-D is less heralded than the 1909-S VDB, but it is actually a scarcer coin in just about every grade and color. Endorsed by CAC, this Select Red and Brown is an outstanding collectible, and the grade is only limited by a small copper spot near the date and some tiny ones on the reverse.
