1914-D 1C MS64 Brown PCGS. The surfaces of this well struck near-Gem have swaths of olive and sandy-brown, as well as significant areas of slightly faded copper-orange at the reverse periphery. While this low-mintage issue did not attract much contemporary notice, collectors today avidly pursue attractive examples.
