Description

1914-D Cent, MS66 Brown
Demand Exceeds Supply

1914-D 1C MS66 Brown NGC. The 1914-D is an important key date in the Lincoln cent series, and the supply of Mint State pieces fails to meet demand. A mix of light brown and sky-blue patination adheres to semiglossy surfaces, and is joined by blushes of crimson and copper-gold on the reverse. The strike is bold, marks are absent, and carbon is limited to an indistinct fingerprint fragment in the field above LIBERTY. A truly wonderful specimen that will add outstanding quality and appeal to a high-grade Lincoln cent collection.
