Description

1914-S 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. A few burgundy overtones on the high points of Lincoln's portrait account for the Brown aspect of the grade, as the remainder of each side is largely copper-orange and satiny. The O in ONE is a trifle weak, but otherwise the strike is sharp, and there are no distracting abrasions or spots. The 1914-S is elusive in this condition. Population: 30 in 65 Red and Brown, 0 finer; 44 in 65 (2 in 65+) Red, 3 finer. CAC: 10 in 65, 0 finer (10/17).(Registry values: N4719)
