Description

1914-S Lincoln Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
Exceptional Gem Example

1914-S 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. The 1914-S is a San Francisco Mint semikey that becomes drastically more difficult to find in Mint State, though it is often overlooked in comparison to the ever-elusive 1909-S issues. This example displays chestnut red-brown on the obverse, though the reverse retains a large portion of the original red luster. The coin is free from any notable abrasions, but some strike weakness is present along the O in ONE on the reverse.
