Description

Terrific 1915-D Lincoln Cent, MS66 Red
Among the Finest Certified

1915-D 1C MS66 Red NGC. While a relatively common coin in circulated grades, the 1915-D is scarce in the better grades of Mint State. This is one of the finer examples known with a total of 24 pieces certified in MS66 (seven by NGC and 17 by PCGS) with none finer (6/10). This example has bright, even red color with mattelike surfaces. The devices are fully struck and the coin shows no mentionable marks on either side. A terrific example of this scarcer early Lincoln cent.
