Description
Conditionally Unsurpassed 1915-D Lincoln Cent MS66 Red
1915-D 1C MS66 Red NGC. While a relatively common coin in circulated grades, the 1915-D is scarce in the better grades of Mint State. This is one of the finer examples known with a total of 22 pieces certified in MS66 (17 PCGS and five by NGC) with none finer (6/07). This example has bright, even red color with matte-like surfaces. The devices are fully struck and the coin shows no mentionable marks on either side. A terrific example of this scarcer early Lincoln cent.
