Description

1915-D Cent, MS66+ Red
Underrated at This Level

1915-D 1C MS66+ Red PCGS. The low-mintage 1914-D rightfully garners more attention, but the 1915-D is only slightly more available in the highest levels of Mint State. This MS66+ Red example is worthy of inclusion in the finest Registry Set. Finely textured and satiny surfaces are rich in copper-orange color. There are four or five carbon spots of note, but both sides are impeccably preserved and razor-sharp. Population: 44 in 66 (8 in 66+) Red, 1 finer (4/21).
