Description

1915-S 1C MS65 Brown PCGS. The bronze used by the San Francisco Mint in 1914 and 1915 had a tendency to turn dark, as seen on this Gem example. The medium Brown surfaces retain ample mint luster and rose-orange undertones. The strike is exceptional. Population: 10 in 65 Brown, 1 finer (6/14).(Registry values: N1793)
