Description

1915-S Cent, MS66 Red and Brown
Well-Detailed, Lovely Iridescence

1915-S 1C MS66 Red and Brown NGC. The 1915-S cent is a challenging one to locate in high grades and with significant original color. As pointed out by David Lange in his reference, the surfaces on this piece are "very deep red." There is a tinge of brown as well, and a lovely peripheral accent of olive-green around the obverse. Census: 4 in 66 Red and Brown, 0 finer (4/12).(Registry values: N2998)
