1916-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. A lustrous brick-red beauty. Despite its branch mint status, the strike is penetrating, and both sides have only minimal carbon. The 1916-D is easily located in most circulated grades, but attractive full red examples are difficult to acquire. Population: 39 in 65 Red, 4 finer (7/08).
