Description
1917 1C MS65 Red PCGS. This is a fully brilliant Gem specimen struck from heavily eroded obverse and reverse dies. The result is some roughness in the fields. This is strictly a result of the manufacturing process and has no effect on the final grade. This is a plentiful issue, however, seldom encountered without spots. The example that we are offering here is one of those infrequently seen examples with pristine surfaces.(#2497) (Registry values: N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22BS, PCGS# 2497, GSID# 1747)
