Description

1917 1C MS66 Red PCGS. CAC. A bold, well-struck example of the issue, as is to be expected of Premium Gem specimens of this high-mintage date. Blazing luster highlights the bright orange-gold toning and rough, satiny texture of the fields. The reverse is a study in perfection and the obverse is nearly its equal, with some insubstantial spotting and chatter in the fields only mentioned for the sake of accuracy. Rare any finer.
