Description
1917 1C MS66 Red PCGS. Although massively produced with more than 196 million pieces struck, it is surprising that no more than 124 pieces exist today in PCGS MS66 Red condition (3/10). This is a bright orange-red example that is fully struck in all areas. There are no notable defects and the surfaces are matte-like, as often seen on this issue, with bright satiny mint luster and a hint of attractive darker Red coloration around the rims.(Registry values: N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22BS, PCGS# 2497, GSID# 1747)
