Description

Razor-Sharp 1919-D Cent, MS65 Red

1919-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. Examples of this postwar issue are generally poorly struck, with mediocre color and surface qualities. Not so the present razor-sharp Gem with medium rose-gold color, full cartwheel luster, and a seemingly immaculate obverse, clearly an early strike from fresh dies. While not as elusive as its sibling the 1919-S, Gem Red 1919-D Lincolns are still incredibly difficult to find in such good shape. Population: 57 in 65 Red, 12 finer (2/09).(Registry values: N1793)
