Description
Fabulous MS66 Red 1919-D Cent
1919-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. Rich orange color dominates each side. This lustrous Premium Gem sports an impressive strike and extremely clean fields. The reverse has a die crack (as struck) at 3 o'clock. Excellent surfaces, with none of the spotting that often plagues early Lincoln cents, and vibrant eye appeal. Many authorities have noted, with varying degrees of humor, that the 1919-D is a common enough coin until it reaches the Gem level that qualifies for the Red designation; then, it becomes a rarity. The determined collector should take advantage of this opportunity. Population: 11 in 66, 1 finer (10/08).From The Jack Lee Estate Lincoln Cent Registry Set.(Registry values: N2998)
