Description

1919-D Lincoln Cent, MS66 Red
Registry-Grade, Original Color

1919-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The 1919-D Lincoln cent poses a roadblock for the competitive Registry collector due to the rarity of high-end examples in the full Red color category. This Premium Gem is a great condition rarity, and ranks a full grade point finer than the Gem Red example in the current highest-rated Registry Set. The design elements are fully rendered, although the rims are not completely squared. Satiny surfaces display glowing violet-red luster, with a couple trivial specks that are hardly worth mentioning. Population: 15 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red, 2 finer (11/16).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22BZ, PCGS# 2518, Greysheet# 1858)

Weight: 3.11 grams

Metal: 95% Copper, 5% Tin and Zinc
