Description
The Finest Certified 1919-S Lincoln Cent, MS 66 Red PCGS
1919-S 1C MS 66 Red PCGS. We have neither seen nor heard of a finer 1919-S Lincoln cent. Lovely golden-orange color adheres to both sides, with a slightly lighter cast over the obverse. The surfaces are silent on the subject of abrasions, and distracting carbon flecks are also conspicuous by their absence. In sum, this coin is the epitome of a premium quality Gem. Despite a sizeable mintage of 139.7 million pieces, the heavily circulated 1919-S is rare in MS 65 Red, and unique (as far as NGC and PCGS are concerned) at the present level of preservation (1/01).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22C2, PCGS# 2521, Greysheet# 1861)
Weight: 3.11 grams
Metal: 95% Copper, 5% Tin and Zinc
