1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401, AU50 PCGS. Die Pair 2,
showing a strong reverse. On the obverse, the second 2 in the date
is sharper than the rest of the numerals. Lincoln's portrait is
poorly defined on this variety and is unreliable for determine a
state of wear. The wheat ears on the reverse are more telling. This
AU piece displays smooth chocolate-brown surfaces and pleasing eye
