Mint State, Strong Reverse 1922 Plain Cent
1922 No D Strong Reverse MS 63 Red PCGS. This is easily one of the finest 1922 Plain cents known. Examples in strict AU are rare, and this is only the second or third mint state coin we can remember having handled in the past fifteen years. The weak reverse variety is rare, but this more desirable variety is exceedingly rare, with a total of only 2 coins graded. The overall color is light red with an area of darker discoloration in the right obverse field. There is also one streak of darker discoloration on the reverse. Population: 1, with 1 finer (11/98).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22C9, PCGS# 3287, Greysheet# 2332)
