Description

1923-S Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
Scarce With Any Original Red Remaining

1923-S 1C MS65 Red and Brown NGC. The 1923-S is scarce with significant red color and a strong strike. This piece has both. That being said, the red on this piece, as on all original 1923-S cents is a deeper red and not the bright orange-red color seen on, say, a 1919. This is an exceptionally attractive example with problem-free surfaces and no discernable marks. Census: 40 in 65 Red and Brown, 0 finer (2/12).(Registry values: N2998)
