Description

Choice Red 1924-S Lincoln Cent
Rare Date in Higher Grades

1924-S 1C MS64 Red PCGS. The 1924-S Lincoln cent is one of the most difficult issues of the decade to locate in higher Mint State grades. Only nine coins have been certified above MS64 in the Red category by PCGS and NGC combined (8/10). The dark red fields of this Choice Mint State example show hints of lilac color when tilted in the light, and the design elements exhibit sharper definition than usually seen on this issue.
