Description

1926-S Cent, MS64 Red
Major Condition Rarity

1926-S 1C MS64 Red PCGS. CAC. This S-mint issue is among the most challenging of all Lincoln cents to locate in high grade with Red surfaces. A CAC-approved MS64 Red example is effectively the finest a collector could hope to obtain, as Gems have crossed the six-figure price threshold on multiple occasions. This copper-gold condition rarity boasts glistening luster over minimally marked surfaces. Typically struck with areas of softness on the portrait, O in ONE, and right wheat stalks. PCGS shows two finer grading events (6/16).(Registry values: N2998)
