Description

1926-S Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
Eye-Appealing Color and Luster

1926-S 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Satiny mint luster on this Gem 1926-S cent leans heavily toward the Red end of color spectrum, showing rich olive-gold, copper-orange, and fire-red hues. No abrasions or carbon spots are seen. The strike is weak as usual for the issue, especially on the high points of the obverse portrait, the O in ONE, and the AME in AMERICA. The 1926-S is a better date in all grades and is rare in Gem condition. Population: 17 in 65 Red and Brown, 2 in 65 Red finer. CAC: 7 in 65, 0 finer (11/17).(Registry values: N4719)
