1927-S 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. During 1927, the Lincoln cent production at San Francisco was less than one-tenth of the Philadelphia mintage. The 1927-S is a better date in all grades, and Gems without noticeable carbon are few and far between. This nearly unmarked example retains peach-gold color in design recesses, while the open fields and high points are gunmetal-gray. Population: 11 in 65 (1 in 65+) Red and Brown, 0 finer.
