Description

1928 Cent, MS67+ Red
A Condition Census Registry Coin
Among the Finest With CAC Approval

1928 1C MS67+ Red PCGS. CAC. Considerations of quality within a grade are much more important at the Superb Gem Red level than in many lower grades, especially among Registry collectors. The Duckor Collection contains some of the highest quality Lincoln cents known of many conditionally scarce issues. The 1928 coin is no exception. Plus graded by PCGS and endorsed by CAC, it is firmly within the Condition Census of the issue. A single finer piece is reported at PCGS, graded MS68 Red, but it is not endorsed by CAC as the Duckor coin is. Golden and copper-orange surfaces yield vibrant satin luster and sharp devices. No Carbon spotting is seen. An exceptional 1928 cent in all respects. Population: 87 in 67 (18 in 67+) Red, 1 finer. CAC: 28% of a total 69 submissions for this issue/grade passed. 19 in 67, 0 finer (2/20).
