1936-S Cent, MS67 Red
Registry Set Candidate
1936-S 1C MS67 Red PCGS. Vibrant coppery-red mint luster
engulfs each side of this Superb Gem. The strike is boldly
impressed, with good definition over the O in ONE, which is usual
weak. A few faint toning flakes are noted on the reverse, but do
not distract. The 1936-S cent is encountered with some frequency at
the MS67 Red grade level, but none have graded finer at either PCGS
or NGC (7/14).(Registry values: N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22DG, PCGS# 2656, Greysheet# 2048)
